Weekly Photo Challenge: Family

The word family has a plethora of definition and one is likely to think of the most common definition if asked about such which is: “A fundamental social group in society typically consisting of one or two parents and their children” thefreedictionary.com. So I thought it would be nicer to think beyond the definition to come up with the something not so common (i.e. my family in the office). After all, thefreedictionary.com also says, “a family consists of two or more people who share goals and values, have long-term commitments to one another, and reside usually in the same dwelling place.” I couldn’t think of a better idea than equating that definition to my family in the office. Because of how this delving went, I must say that this week’s photo challenge was more of like a reminiscing time for me.

For almost six years of working in the country’s law firm, I have been moved from one division to another twice because of “reshuffling” that happens each time a new Solicitor General is appointed or a division head resigns. Having said that, what I have with those two old divisions I was once a part of are only good times. :-)

  7. Beautiful and happy family. This is one of the priceless thing that I miss since I left the country. Until now my sisters and their kids would visit my parents and everytime an instant party is born. The gift of family is one treasure that any Filipino should cherish for as much, and for as long as they can. I didn’t realize how I crave being around family till I was no longer around them.
Bro, thanks for sharing you family. I can see alot of love and happiness in their face. God bless you all my friend. Have a wonderful holiday season….I’m sure the Christmas season is amazing there right now.
