Three years ago, I learned that the best time to eat fruits is when the stomach is empty. Therefore, this is my kind of breakfast since.

Fruits should be eaten on an empty stomach…not as dessert after your meal as it is often done. If you eat fruit like this, it will also help to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

I have just one word to describe your breakfast Sony–healthlicious! I know, it’s not officially a word, but I think it fits (healthy + delicious). Your breakfast looks pretty awesome to me! Anyway, I don’t know whether you celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday, but if you do I hope that you have a memorable one. I will be spending time with family, but will be blogging again after the holiday. As always, best wishes to you and your family. 🙂

Normally, we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in the Philippines. However you gave me an idea and that is to spend time with my wife and son too. Besides, if there’s one thing I would like to thank for it would their presence in my life. They are my guiding stars. Thanks for giving me a reason to make tomorrow (Thursday) be extra special! God bless you and your family too, Donna!
And, another THANK YOU for coming here … for contributing to my growth as an individual … as a servant of this beautiful planet!

An Apple a day, drives the doctor away…and broke! My mom used to make guava jam from scratch when I was a boy. I would help her pick up the fruits in our backyard and if they are not enough we would get more at the local market. In between school, my favorite place to just be myself was an old native guava tree. I would climb it and would have a great view of the house and the field next to us. All of that changed now. The tree has been long gone. The fields became a school. All that’s left are the wonderful childhood memories. I realized now that life constantly change, people and places change. With that in mind, we do need to enjoy and make unforgettable memories today so that when the things around us changes, the beautiful memories will help us recall of a once wonderful past. Live your life to the fullest with your family….times flies so fast. A blessed Thanksgiving day to you and your love ones. God bless , Bro.

Hehe… I like the intro! The only time I saw how tiring the processes are in making a guava jelly was when I was in Grade 6. It was a part of our Home Economics subject. You’re right, we need plenty of those rinds rich in PECTIN (of a guava) to make a jelly. Never applied it though after learning about how to do it. However, climbing our guava tree — and our neighbor’s — was also one of my favorite pastimes too. It goes without saying I know how “liberating” it is to climb a sturdy tree like guava. Hehe …
I am with you on that idea that “we do need to enjoy and make unforgettable memories today so that when the things around us changes, the beautiful memories will help us recall of a once wonderful past.” That’s indeed enlightening, especially for someone who’s not much of an optimist.
God bless you too, Bro.
p.s.
I wish Thanksgiving is as BIG as it is in the US. Nonetheless, it’s big for me because of you and Donna who didn’t fail to share it with me today. There goes my way of saying, thank you!
