When I went to the tranquil lake of Buhi in Camarines Sur a year ago, one of the most interesting subjects I captured from the place was the boy with a pink umbrella, who is fishing, on the photo. My observations on what he was doing that time made me conclude that this week’s photo challenge has a lot to say about bait fishing because it entails an avalanche of waiting.

Oh, I like this for “waiting” … perfect. I’ve fished myself, and waiting is the magic word.

It does – but I also love the way the opposite bank just slices though the blue with it’s slash of green/yellow vividness — this would look fabulous hanging on a wall.

Let’s not forget that – cheers to that boy in pink umbrella though, it started to look like purple or lavender but you were there so I need not argue further…

This is one of my favorite photos. I believe it was featured in one of your post. The boy with the pink umbrella is one unforgettable subject. Fishing is both fun and a great way to relax, gather your thoughts while waiting for healthy meal. Thanks for sharing your life’s adventures with us. God bless you and your family always.
