Weekly Photo Challenge: On Top

If there’s one field that I find quite challenging in the science of creating images, it would be aerial photography. This is something I get to do—only—whenever I go on vacation to my homeland (Philippines). This is when I can snap overhead shots of a place on sight through the airplane’s window.

The picture, which covers an aerial view of Abu Dhabi, has always been my favorite. I like this kind of photo because it reveals a very interesting version of our world, partly because it is really difficult to capture.

Aerial photos give us a drastically different perspective of the world on top.
