Weekly Photo Challenge: Letters

Okay, I own no sports or luxury cars but I’m a sporadic collector of their matchbox versions 10 years ago. I became a bit familiar with car names because of them since. Now that I am in Saudi Arabia, I developed a penchant for photographing wheels because both sports and luxury cars litter the roads. This is why my entry this time is quite different–considering the blog’s theme. Nevertheless, it’s a favorite.

The easiest not to mention first car that I memorized was BMW as in Black Monochrome White. Kidding! Bavarian Motor Works (Bayerische Motoren Werke AG in German) is what the initialism stands for. There are only a few car brands whose names go with initialisms so that BMW stood out and more remembered among its equivalents. The juxtaposition of the subject letters is just perfect.
