21 #RiyadhSunsets of 2020

Happiness, peace, and comfort for me during the lockdown days were catching some rays and fresher air at the rooftop, walking in the park, and watching the sun slowly dips into horizon. The latter is obviously a personal favorite because of four things: the sunset makes the skies change in mesmerizing colors; the sunset reinforces the belief that there’s always something beautiful out of the mundane;  the sunset is a reliable fuel to my muse; and that sense of reassurance the sunset gives out as it fades away in the distance.

The sunset is more than a natural phenomenon. It’s a constant thing of wonder and can never be immobilized by a virus or the havoc its wreaking over the world.

As the heat of the day cools down and as the coldness of winter steps up, a vibrant magical glow is casted over Riyadh skies. The colors change from golden to orange and then to deep red. Sunsets in Al Izdihar and Al Gadir’s are definitely worth watching for. Walk through these areas with me. See how beautifully the sun displays its layers of color during that special time of the day.

Take a look at these 21 captioned sunsets framed from January – December 2020!
